Organizations can never completely predict the future, but they can update their technology to ensure they have the agility and resilience to anticipate and respond. By modernizing their IT environment with a hybrid cloud approach, leaders are able to accelerate transformation to add critical capabilities — without sacrificing stability, security or flexibility. Through a series of discussions with industry experts, we will share how companies can successfully:
• Build business resilience for rapid recovery
• Increase business impact without impacting the environment
• Simplify and secure IT integration, distribution and management across digital ecosystems
Across the world and in a variety of sectors, digitization has become an increasingly significant
source of carbon emissions. Businesses are demanding ever more energy intensive data analytics, heightened digital security is driving ever more powerful computation, and internet traffic continues to soar along with energy use and global emissions. In this panel we'll explore how that environmental impact can be mitigated through thoughtful use of cloud and hybrid-cloud computing, ensuring leaders can make big picture decisions for their sustainability goals while also delivering near term energy and cost savings.

Cybercrime continues to challenge business resilience and continuity plans, not only thanks to the immediate recovery and repair requirements, but also the opportunity and reputational costs caused by lengthy systems downtime. Beyond measures to secure multiple levels of their technology stacks, organizations are increasingly focused on how they can return as rapidly to the status quo ante, the moment before an attack, so they can get operations back up and running with minimal losses. We'll discuss some of the innovative approaches and technologies that are helping companies keep a record of pre-attack systems and data snapshots, and how safeguarded copies can form a key part of the recovery process and help businesses more effectively detect and respond to attacks as well.
